Griffin has been a dog of many firsts for us. He was the first born Lavendel puppy, our first bred-by dog to show, our first dog to show as a new breeder at a national specialty, and our first Bred By Exhibitor Champion. Griffin is a supremely charismatic guy, and I was so happy when my breed mentor Ivy Underdahl allowed me to co-own and show him. He started his career with a best of winners and best puppy in sweeps at the SVCA National Specialty in 2018, earning all his majors on that trip to Arizona. After a brief show hiatus due to the pandemic, Griffin finished his BBE Championship in 2021, and recently earned all the required majors towards his Grand Championship.
In 2021 he sired his first litter of 8 beautiful puppies who are already showing lots of promise in conformation and performance sports. In 2022 he sired his second litter of 2 beautiful puppies who are happy in their new homes.
Griffin has shown phenomenal aptitude in herding, and together we he earned his HT. Like his mother and father he is a wonderful working dog, and Ivy and he have earned titles in AKC scent work and tricks.
Griffin is owned and loved by my long time friend and mentor Ivy Underdahl of Solborg Swedish Vallhunds. Thankfully they live fairly close so I get to hang with my buddy Griffles often. He is a happy and joyful presence in their house and we are both so happy to have him in our lives.
