Scrapple is our first Lavendel puppy to stay with us at home! He was born in 2021 after much anticipation and many postponements. We knew we wanted to keep a puppy from Eloise's second litter, and Scrapple made sure we picked him by being a singleton. Of course we wouldn't have it any other way! Scrapple is one of the most joyful and happy dogs we know. So far, he loves just about everyone and everything and that tail of his never stops wagging.
2021
He recently started his conformation career, earning a point his very first time in the ring. He also surprised us with a BPUP group 1 and 3 before even starting his regular show career. I can't wait to see where we can go together! Scrapple has also shown lots of promise in the performance arena by starting his nose work training in fall 2021. He is eager to work, fun to train, and I can't wait to come along for his journey.
2022
Scrapple had a great first year of showing, earning a handful of points and an amazing BOB at Woofstock 2022 for his first major. He's maturing nicely and we are excited to see where we can go next year.
He also started his NW/Scent Work career in 2022 and earned his ORT title as well as all the legs required for an AKC Scent Work Novice title. Well done little dude!
2023
We are only half way through the year and Scrapple has blown away all my expectations. He started the year strong in February with a NOHS Group 3 in Fresno in a very competitive herding group. In March he earned his NW1 title. In April he picked up a couple more BOBs and a Bred-By Exhibitor Group 3 in Bakersfield. Later in April he also started in Advanced Scent work earning a HIT Advanced! May/June saw us heading to the SVCA Western Regional Specialty in Lodi where we had 4 days of showing after cheering on our friends in herding. Scrapple started the shows by taking BOW for an extra credit major and finishing his CH to become my second BBE Champion! We moved him up for the Regional Specialty later that day and proceeded to take BOB for his first Grand Major and giving him the new title of BISS! He continued his streak all weekend, coming out of the ring every time with a ribbon, receiving a BBE Group 4, BOS on Saturday, and Select on Sunday to complete all three of his Grand majors. WOW WOW WOW!
Update: Scrapple finished his GCH in October up in Dixon with two BOB wins. He is our first GCH and I couldn't be happier to have him representing all our hard work! Way to go dude!
